I have been sent two warnings from my provider that I am about to go past my download limit and will be shaped to a much slower speed.

I'm so sorry to hear that. We really have in our priority list to change the structure of the work-units (and maybe the version of the application) to reduce the required bandwidth. I will try to do something about it when back from SC.

Would it not be possible to download the main parameters once for each work unit type rather than for each and every work unit ?? Read idea number 1 in this post I made over 2 months ago regarding this issue. I grab a task every once in a while to see if any changes to the download sizes have been made, but so far no improvement for those of us who are limited by our providers. I will be very happy if the changes Trilce mentions actually happen. |
