The hard disk in my celeron 700 packed it in before it reported its first Wu on my return to docking. What i was wondering is if there was a way i could get the WU reissued to another box before it goes through the long time out process.

I don't think boinc has a mechanism in place to do this. The result will eventually time out and reissued to a new machine.

Don't worry about it after all we are in alpha test and that result should be re-issued to another host eventually. Just don't forget to use the merge computer once you replace the hard drive and install boinc. |
