There is an issue with Docking@home preferences overriding preferences set with BOINC Account Manager (BAM!).
Basically what is happening is BAM! is giving a set of preferences to a client and they are applied. Then, the next time the client connects to Docking@home those preferences are changed to an older set of preferences stored with Docking@home.
Here is a sample from a client:

I'm told by BAM! that the issue can be resolved by updated the Docking@home server software. Are there any plans for updating the Docking@home server software?

Thanks for reporting the issue, and yes, we are working on upgrading BOINC server. The current status is that we are working on the development platform for D@H project, and we will move on the upgrade D@H once we get everything working smoothly on the development platform.
We will keep you posted!
Thanks!
Boyu
