I just read the 1'st Issue of the Docking@home Newsletter.

I thought this was F antastic and full of useful information about the project and the team. It was easy to read and well laid out. I was so interested I actually read about 90% of the material, usually I don't read that much.

I look forward to future issues.

Job well done.

Happy Holidays.

Thanks for the positive feedback Keith! You beat me to creating a new thread for feedback on the newsletter :-)

Looking forward to feedback from everybody else...

Andre

Nice newsletter! I've seen most of this info scattered around the site, but the newsletter really does a good job of bringing it all together into a single source. Looking forward to reading Issue 2!

I have to agree. Well laid out and full of all the info I wanted as a volunteer. Good tutorial on the science too. Nice work!

Thanks,
Bill

Awesome, some real food for thought there, I realy enjoy a challenge in My reading. I very much appreciate the obvious time and care that went into this paper, and feel honored to have recieved it. My interest in this project is much higher now, as is my understanding of the work being done and Your goals.

Thanks eh !

> Keep up the good work Docking Team, bloody good job. I also read most of the newsletter, again like Keith I would normally just skip most of these sort of things.

Yep. Very good job on the first newsletter. Keep up the good work!

The newsletter was very informative. It was a nice mixture of easy-too-read introduction to the project/team, some crucial information about crunching for Docking / current issues to be solved and last but not least some information about the scientific background of the project. The latter was not too difficult to read IMHO, if you have a some affinity to natural sciences.

I also appreciated the PDF format (instead of HTML-email for example).

Thank you.

Happy holidays to everyone!

I was just re-reading the first (well only) newsletter in the ' newsletters ' (plural) section of the website. It mentions we might get newsletters regularly in our email. Could you define regularly ? If you are thinking of Quarterly, you only have about a dozen days left to assemble the next issue.

Sorry, I couldn't refuse the chance to tease you on this.

Yep, quarterly is the idea. Takes quite a bit of time to put something together so weekly will probably be too much ;-)

Thanks for teasing,
Andre
