	Was ist die 2nd Wave? Es handelt sich bei den Mitgliedern um eine zweite Welle von Crunchern, die SETI.Germany in einem Notfall mit allem unterstützen, was rechnen kann. Für alle die, die sich fragen, welche denn die erste Welle ist... schaut mal bei der SPEG rein Ein Notfall tritt dann ein, wenn wir in einem Projekt, von einem anderen Team angegriffen werden. Das alleine gesehen würde bedeuten, dass wir uns im Dauereinsatz befinden... Aus diesem Grund gibt es ein weiteres Kriterium: Die Bedeutung des Projektes für SETI.Germany. Es gibt Projekte, die uns "wichtiger" sind als andere. Entweder durch den Sinn, die Werbewirksamkeit, den Aufwand um dort hinzukommen wo man jetzt steht oder auch des Standes in der Statistik. Es sollte also nicht mehr als eine Handvoll dieser Notfälle im Jahr geben. Was sind die Ziele von 2nd Wave? Es gibt nur ein Ziel: Die Verteidigung der SETI.Germany Position in einem bestimmten Projekt! Wie werde ich Mitglied von 2nd Wave? Gaaanz einfach... Zuerst muss man Mitglied im Forum von SETI.Germany sein, also registrieren! Danach kann man im Kontrollzentrum unter Benutzergruppen die Mitgliedschaft in der Gruppe "2nd Wave" beantragen. Die Freischaltung durch einen Gruppenleiter erfolgt kurzfristig. Als nächstes fehlt nur noch die Abgabe einer Email-Adresse, die auch regelmäßig abgefragt wird. Die wird für den Alarmierungsfall benötigt und einen zukünftigen Newsletter. Im Moment am Besten per PN an mich, da ich auch die Liste pflege. Das war es dann auch schon. Was wird von mir als Mitglied der 2nd Wave erwartet? Wenn der Aufruf zu einer Verteidigungsaktion kommt (Email), dann lass alle anderen Projekte liegen und rechne mit allem was du hast für SETI.Germany in dem Projekt, für das der Notruf kommt! Wichtig: Es muss alles sehr schnell gehen, sonst kann es zu spät sein! Wenn wir uns nicht in einer Notsituation befinden, rechnet jeder die Projekte, die er rechnen mag. Sonst noch was? Für die Interessierten der Formula Boinc (FB) oder Leute, die gerne in Kleingruppen rechnen gibt es ein Angebot im 2nd Wave Forum, das genutzt werden kann. Für Leute mit dem Willen, gezielt Projekte zu rechnen, sich aktiv an der Auswahl solcher Projekte zu beteiligen und SETI.Germany in breiter Front zu verbessern. Schaut euch den Link zur SPEG weiter oben an. Diese Hardcore-Cruncher haben zwar mehr Voraussetzungen, aber die Ziele sind auch breiter Happy Vollgascrunching
