	Hello, I joined a week or so ago, mainly because I have a server running that really does absolutely nothing except my personal web server stuff... which takes zero processing power. That lead me to wondering what I could do with my computer's idle CPU. And vahalla, quick Google search, little reading about boinc, and I briefly read goals and picked this place. I'm curious, is each task assigned ran by multiple people for consistency ? Or is each individual task a separate unique calculation needing computated? Just curious as I'm not really sure if this is explained somewhere, feel free to direct me to links! Otherwise, soon to add a few more ole' rigs to help out, it's not much, but I'm sure all is appreciated :). Cheers! Doug

	Hi Doug, Glad that you chose our project! If you want to have a little more science background and understand what's going on, I recommend you to read some of our newsletters here: http://docking.cis.udel.edu/about/project/news.php To answer your question, each task is a docking task for a ligand, and the ligand started with some degree of random rotation and seed, so each task is unique, we want to sample large enough ligands to identify the potential drug candidate. And also, depends on the different libraries and precision of volunteers' machines, the exact same tasks do not necessarily yield identical results. I hope this clarify things a little, thanks!!
